Trip Overview

This journey through India’s Golden Triangle is designed for travellers who want to feel India rather than simply see it. Moving beyond monuments and postcards, this experience brings you face-to-face with everyday life, living traditions, and moments that cannot be staged or repeated.

From the historic streets of Old Delhi to the timeless beauty of the Taj Mahal, and finally to Jaipur  where Holi is celebrated with heart rather than spectacle  this tour follows India’s cultural spine. The experience is enriched with an ethical Elefantastic elephant encounter, offering a rare chance to spend time with rescued elephants in a setting built on care, respect, and awareness.

Holi here is not about parties or crowds. It is about shared laughter, village warmth, and colour as a language of connection. Combined with slow travel, personal interactions, and guided storytelling, this Golden Triangle journey becomes a deeply human experience vibrant, grounding, and unforgettable.

Holi Celebration in India – Golden Triangle Tour with Jaipur Experience :- Detail Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival In Delhi | First Impressions Of India

Your journey begins in Delhi, where you are welcomed at the airport by our representative and transferred privately to your hotel. After check-in, the rest of the day is kept light to allow you to settle into India’s rhythm.

Depending on your arrival time, you may take a short orientation walk around your neighbourhood, observing daily life — street vendors, evening prayers, and the constant movement that defines India’s capital. This gentle introduction helps you ease into the days ahead.

Overnight in Delhi.

Day 2 Old & New Delhi | History, Streets & Stories

Today reveals Delhi in layers. You explore New Delhi’s broad avenues and landmarks such as India Gate and Humayun’s Tomb, where Mughal architecture tells stories of power, symmetry, and time.

The afternoon shifts dramatically as you step into Old Delhi. A rickshaw ride weaves through narrow lanes filled with spice aromas, temple bells, and human energy. A guided walking tour through Chandni Chowk, the spice market, and food streets introduces you to the city’s soul — chaotic, alive, and deeply rooted.

Street food tasting is optional but encouraged for those willing to step slightly outside their comfort zone, guided safely by your escort.

Overnight in Delhi.

Day 3 Delhi To Agra | The Taj At Sunset

After breakfast, you travel by road to Agra. The landscape changes as urban Delhi gives way to rural scenes — farms, roadside chai stalls, and slow-moving life.

In Agra, you visit the Agra Fort, a red-sandstone stronghold that once controlled an empire. Later, as the light softens, you experience the Taj Mahal, not rushed, but slowly — allowing time to absorb its scale, symmetry, and emotion.

The evening is free, offering space to reflect or explore Agra’s quieter corners.

Overnight in Agra.

Day 4 Agra To Jaipur | Rural India & Step-well Heritage

An early sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal allows you to see it in changing colours and morning calm. After breakfast, you begin your drive toward Jaipur.

En route, you stop at Abhaneri, a rural village known for its ancient step-well. Here, you see how water, architecture, and community once worked together — a reminder of India’s ingenuity beyond palaces.

You arrive in Jaipur by evening and check into your hotel. The night is relaxed, preparing you for the days of celebration ahead.

Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 5 Jaipur | Elephant Experience & Holika Dahan

The day begins away from the city at Elefantastic, an ethical elephant sanctuary. Here, you meet rescued elephants and spend time learning about their lives, personalities, and care routines.

You participate in gentle, respectful activities such as feeding, walking alongside them, and helping with their bathing rituals. There are no rides, no tricks — only trust, patience, and connection. This experience often becomes one of the most emotionally memorable moments of the journey.

In the evening, you witness Holika Dahan, the traditional bonfire ceremony symbolising the cleansing of negativity. Standing among locals, you feel the anticipation of Holi building in the air.

Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 6 Jaipur | Rangwali Holi & Farewell

Today is Rangwali Holi, the festival of colours. Rather than chaotic streets, you celebrate Holi in a guided, respectful environment where colour becomes a gesture of welcome rather than noise.

Natural colours, shared smiles, music, and laughter define the morning. You interact with locals, exchange greetings, and experience Holi as it is meant to be — inclusive, joyful, and human.

Please note that on Dhulendi, some monuments may remain closed or operate only for half day, so the focus remains on cultural celebration rather than sightseeing.

After lunch and time to refresh, you are transferred back to Delhi for your onward journey or extension.
